Q: What led you to pursue a career in medtech?

A: I worked as a part-time consultant for LivaNova a few years back and got a little taste of the company. When I left that consulting firm, I found an opening at LivaNova, and I jumped at the opportunity because I enjoyed working with the people here.

Q: Who is a woman who has mentored or inspired you throughout your career?

A: I can't pick just one! For the majority of my career, it's been very male dominated. So, the few women I've worked with have all been amazing. I think the hard work they do each day in their careers builds a motivating path for other women to follow.

Q: What keeps you engaged in your work?

A: The people. I think the people at LivaNova are really great. The other department heads and I work to make a positive impact by striving to make jobs easier and safer, and that is very motivating to me.

Q: Why would you encourage other women in medtech to work at LivaNova?

A: I think there are many talented people here with whom you can gain valuable insights, even outside your role or department. If you want to explore a different branch of the company, there are plenty of people that you can learn from at LivaNova.

Q: Can you share with us a little-known fact about yourself?

A: My fiancé and I like to go to restaurants and try interesting foods. If we enjoy it, I try to recreate the dish at home. Sometimes it works out, and other times, it's a flop. The best dish I re-created was a steamed meat bun. They were really good.
