Arterial Filters
A range of adult and pediatric arterial filters for the filtration of solid and gaseous emboli.
D130 and D131 Kids Arterial Filters
D130TM and D131 KidsTM are arterial blood filters with 40 μm screen. The fluid path inside the filter is recommended for use to permit the separation of gaseous emboli from the fluid. Removal is performed by a suitable purge line. LivaNova has designed a uniform biocompatible surface treatment that features phosphorylcholine.1

Intended use
D130 and D131 Kids with 40 μm screen are recommended for use in the arterial line of the extracorporeal circuit during any procedure that requires cardiopulmonary bypass.
The filter is used to trap and remove gaseous emboli as well as particulate debris that may be introduced throughthe arterial line.
The device should not be used longer than 6 hours. Contact with blood for longer periods is not advised.
Micro Arterial Filters
Micro Arterial FiltersTM are available in 27 or 40 μm screen.
The fluid path inside the filter is recommended for use to permit the separation of gaseous emboli from the fluid. Removal is performed by a suitable purge line.

Intended Use
Micro arterial filters are intended for use in the arterial line of the cardiopulmonary circuit. The blood to be treated should contain anticoagulant.
Micro filters effectively eliminate gaseous emboli and remove blood components aggregates present in the arterial line. They filter emboli which are respectively greater than 27 or 40 μm in size which may be harmful for the patient.
The device should not be used longer than 6 hours. Contact with blood for longer periods is not advised.
